Genre Hopping at the APAP|NYC Conference

"Genre hopping - one of the best things about theconference experience. From 7:30 to10:30 PM last night, we experienced a blindfolded "earfilm" at Three Legged Dog, a newchamber opera, and a beautiful rendition of "St. James Infirmary" by JonathanBatiste and Stay Human Band. At least one of these amazing artists will be at the Mondavi Center next season!"

"In the meantime, here's a short clip of Jonathan Batiste getting the crowd in action with keys, glasses, hands, feet and pretty much anything that isn't nailed down!"

APAP|NYC, the annual conference of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters, is the world's largest networking forum and marketplace for performing arts professionals. More than 3,500 presenters, artists, managers, agents and emerging arts leaders from 28 countries convene in New York City for five days of professional development, business deals and exciting performances.

Mondavi Center Associate Executive Director and Director of Programming, Jeremy Ganter, will be reporting in from the conference over the next week, providing a peek at how a Mondavi Center season comes together.
